Description

Description: It is the Government's intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for the procurement of 10 Singapore Fire Control Post DAIB-M units, GTRI17- HiDANplus-DAIB-M from RTD Embedded Technologies. These units will be manufactured at the RTD Embedded Technologies facilities in State College, Pennsylvania and will be delivered to Building 6263, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The anticipated delivery date for the integrated system is 60 work days from the Award of Contract (AOC). Earlier delivery at no additional cost to the Government is desirable and acceptable. All items shall include shipping costs FOB destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. Based upon market research, this requirement cannot be met by commercial items; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. Authority cited: Statutory Authority permitting other than full and open competition for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(C) (1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the FAR entitled - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition will be sole sourced to RTD Embedded Technologies, 103 Innovation Blvd, State College, PA 16804-0906. RTD Embedded Technologies is the only supplier capable of providing Digital Analog Interface Box, DAIB-M units.
