Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912LN-15-T-0021 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor that meets the minimum technical requirement at the lowest price. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332312 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a 100% small business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. Quotes are due by 12 August 2015 at 3:00 PM EDT. F.O.B. Destination shall be Rutland, VT 05701. The Vermont Army National Guard requires the following. Amendment 01 deletes brand name reference and replaces with following salient characteristics for a modular aircraft ramp/shoring system: Shall be compatible with C-130, C17 & C5 aircraft Non-Skid Ramps Minimum Ramp Capacity (of each ramp) 20,000 lbs. per axle Minimum Overall length of 192 inches Each ramp section shall not exceed 94 inches and be easily stored in bed of pickup Minimum ramp width of 30 inches Minimum two adjustable supports that break down for easy storage Minimum of four handles per ramp section Ramps shall include additional wedge or tapered edge to make smooth transition with tarmac Protective material to prevent metal to metal contact with aircraft Not required to support track equipment Maximum contact pressure of 50 PSI ATTLA Certified All new equipment Quantity - one (1) each.
