- Request for Information / Sources Sought Notice The US Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) has a requirement for Dairy Products for 4 North Carolina Facilities, VAMC Asheville, VAMC Durham, VAMC Fayetteville and VAMC Salisbury; The requirement will include various flavors of ice cream and a variety of milk products. The Contracting Specialist is conducting market research through this RFI / Sources Sought Notice to seek contract sources for purchase. This requirement is for Fiscal Year 2016, with the opportunity for two optional years once a firm fixed priced contract is in place. A delivery order will be prepared for each VA facility. The quantities below are estimated for one year. 1.Whole milk ½, print 68,500. EA. 2.2% milk, ½ pint. 322.100. EA. 3.Skim milk, 1/2 pint 105,500. EA. 4.Chocolate milk, ½ pint 31,500. EA. 5.Buttermilk, ½ pint 2,300. EA. 6.Cottage Cheese, 5# Container, 1 % fat, 175 CO. 7.Drink, orange, gallon container, 1050. GL. 8.Vanilla ice cream, 4 oz. container, 24 /pkg, 600. PG. 9.Chocolate ice cream 4 oz. /24/pkg. 475. PG. 10.Strawberry ice cream 4 oz. /24 pkg. 275. PG. 11.Lime Sherbet, 4 oz. container, 24/pkg. 125. PG. 12.Orange Sherbet, 4 oz. containers, 24pkg. 200. PG. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
