Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BID - PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THIS NOTICE IS BEING ISSUED TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT INTEREST FROM QUALIFIED PRIME CONTRACTORS who are Small Businesses, HUBZone small businesses, Woman owned small business concerns, 8(a) small businesses, or Service disabled veteran-owned small businesses and who intend to submit a bid for this solicitation to allow for a set-aside in one of these programs MUST submit the following by e-mail to CFLAcquisitions@dot.gov or by telefax to 720-963-3360 (Attn: Craig Holsopple) for receipt by close of business (2 p.m. local Denver time) on August 12, 2015: (1) A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (2) A copy of the letter from SBA stating date of HUBZone small business certification or acceptance to the 8(a) small business program. In the case of a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concern, you must provide proof of eligibility (DD form 214 or a letter of adjudication from the Veterans Administration). This information must be provided in order to determine eligibility - DO NOT SEND COPIES OF YOUR CCR PROFILE; (3) Letter from bonding agent stating your firm's capability to bond for a single project of $10 million, and your firm's aggregate bonding capacity; and (4) Provide a list of road construction projects of equal or greater value to the Tarryall Road project in which you performed ( as the prime contractor ) grading, drainage reconstruction, aggregate base, superpave asphalt pavement, signing, striping, new guardrail, and traffic control. State whether your firm was the prime contract or subcontractor on the project. DO NOT SEND INFORMATION ON PROJECTS THAT DO NOT INCLUDE THE ABOVE WORK. The size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc. Refer to the Code of Federal Regulations 13 CFR 121.103 for information on how the SBA determines affiliation and 13 CFR 121.108 regarding the penalties for misrepresentation of size status. PROJECT DETAILS: CO FLAP CR 77(5) Tarryall Creek Road PROJECT DETAILS: This project totals 7.42 miles roadway reconstruction of Park County Road 77, otherwise called Tarryall Creek Rd. Type of Construction: grading, drainage reconstruction, aggregate base, superpave asphalt pavement, signing, striping, new guardrail, and traffic control This project consists of: Schedule A: 4.57 miles of roadway reconstruction of Park County Road 77. Significant Items for Schedule A Include: 10,500 LF of silt fence; 11,800 LF of sediment logs; 28 acres of clearing and grubbing; 37,000 CY of roadway excavation; 1000 cuyd of subexcavation; 18,800 tons of aggregate base; 11,625 tons of superpave asphalt paving; 1489 LF of pipe culvert placement; 500 lnft of underdrain; 7,268 LF of fence; 21 acres of seeding and mulching; 420 gallons of pavement markings; 6400 flagger hours Option X: 2.85 miles of roadway reconstruction of Park County Road 77. Significant Items for Option X Include: 1,480 LF of silt fence; 5,175 LF of sediment logs; 18.5 acres of clearing and grubbing; 30,625 CY of roadway excavation; 500 cuyd of subexcavation; 11,765 tons of aggregate base; 7,385 tons of superpave asphalt paving; 1300 LF of pipe culvert placement; 890 lnft of concrete curb and gutter; 2,300 LF of fence; 7 acres of seeding and mulching; 290 gallons of pavement markings; 3200 flagger hours It is anticipated this project will be advertised in October, 2015 with construction beginning in March 2016 and extending through October 2016. Estimated total cost for the Schedule A and Option X is $7,000,000 to $10,000,000.
