Solicitation Number P15PS01856 "Repair of 18 Historic Chimneys at Lassen Volcanic National Park, Tehama County, California. Description: The US Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Pacific West Region, Lassen Volcanic National Park intends to solicit competitive offers for a firm-fixed-price Contract for the repair of 18 historic chimneys within the park. The work consists of providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to design, manage, and accomplish needed repairs of 18 historic chimneys. The work also consists of assessment of 18 chimneys in 12 locations, and making needed repairs to include removal of deteriorated mortar to a structurally sound base, replacing with new mortar. Reinstalling loose, or missing bricks or stones, and using reclaimed bricks or stones to match the appearance of existing. The anticipated period of performance is September 28, 2015 to November 12, 2015. Period of performance is approximate; actual dates will be established at the time of award. Required Registration: To be eligible for award, a vendor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) via the SAM Internet site at www.sam.gov and have completed the electronic Online Representations and Certifications Application at that same site.
