PRE-SOLICTATION NOTICE FOR PRE-PLACED CRYPT CONVERSIONS AT SECT 4 AT CULPEPER NATIONAL CEMETERY IN CULPEPER, VA (Project Number 839CM3027) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA786A-15-B-0044 for the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary for Burial Conversion in accordance with the Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications as it relates to the following BID Items: BID ITEM 1: GENERAL INTENTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and services to completely prepare site for construction, including demolition and removal of existing structures for the Pre-Placed Crypt Conversion in Section 4 and irrigate the cemetery grounds as required by the Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications at Culpeper National Cemetery. Visits to the Culpeper National Cemetery site may be arranged by appointment only by contacting the Cemetery Director at 540-825-0027. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Period of Performance is approximately 300 calendar days from date of the receipt of Notice-To-Proceed. NAICS CODE: 237990 SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE D CONTRACT UNDER 100% COMPETITVE SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Basis of Award: Award will be made under Federal Acquisitions Regulations FAR Part 14 to the responsive, responsible and lowest priced Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation For Bid (IFB) details may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released for issue on or about Monday, August 22, 2015. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to FedBizOpps. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of bids. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed.
