Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-15-R-00149 is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Karina Espinosa, Contracting Officer, via e-mail at karina.espinosa@faa.gov FAA has a requirement for NIDS Power Panel Installation located at the New York TRACON, 1515 Stewart Ave, Westbury, NY, Nassau County Performance time for the entire project is 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The main North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) size standard code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million This requirement is offered to all qualified, responsive concerns and offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer (karina.espinosa@faa.gov) no later than 5 days prior to the close of the solicitation at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). All proposals must be received no later than August 31, 2015, at 5:00 PM EDT. Any responses received after the closing date and time, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. Proposals can be submitted using the United States Postal Service (USPS) or any commercial mail carrier to the following address: Federal Aviation Administration Eastern Service Area Attn: Karina Espinosa, AAQ-510ATL 1701 Columbia Avenue College Park Georgia. 30337 Mailed proposal must be sealed and labeled as follows: RFP # DTFAEN-15-R-00149. Offerors must submit one hard copy and one digital media proposal. No email or hand delivered offers will be accepted. This RFP is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The estimated construction price if between $75,000 and $150,000. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
