Description

THIS IS AN ADVANCE RELEASE OF PM-DCGS-A INCREMENT 2 DRAFT PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) in support of the Program Manager Distributed Common Ground System Army (PM-DCGS-A) hereby releases PM-DCGS-A's Increment 2 (DRAFT) PWS for Engineering, Manufacturing and Development. The DRAFT PWS release is the continuation of PM-DCGS-A's desire to promote exchanges of information among all interested parties before receipt of proposals in accordance with FAR 15.201. All interested parties are encouraged to review the attached DRAFT PWS and submit comments for PM-DCGS-A's consideration. Comments will be considered during PWS finalization, but the Government does NOT intend to provide responses. Interested parties shall return comments in the attached PWS comment matrix to Mr. Steve Morton at Stephen.J.Morton8.civ@mail.mil The purpose of exchanging this information is to improve the understanding of the Government's requirement and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government's requirement, and enhancing the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services, at reasonable prices, and increase efficiency proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract award. This notice will stay open for two weeks, comments are due by the close of business 18 August 2015.
