Description

The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only One Responsible Source for engineering services in the area of survivability/lethality and vulnerability analysis of Army systems based on only one source is capable of providing the services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique or highly specialized. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Optimetrics, Inc. 100 Walter Ward Blvd Abingdon, MD 21009-1284. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
