Description

The purpose of this amendment is to: -Clarify that the Request for Proposal (RFP) due date is August 6, 2015, 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. -Post the Interconnection Security Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding and business associate agreement referenced in paragraph 5.1 of the Performance Work Statement. -Post questions submitted by vendors as well as the Government's responses. Questions and Answers - Round 1 Virtual Private Network Services August 4, 2015 1. Does this effort require a connection to the Medicare Data Communication Network (MDCN)? A: Yes, this effort requires a connection to the MDCN. 2.Unsolicited Response (UR) uses Medicare Benefits Coordination and Recovery Center Medicare COB System transaction set 271 Health Care Eligibility Benefit Response? A: No, it uses a proprietary file. 3.Multiple files may be available for pickup each day by the contractor? A: Yes, normally three files per day. 4.Once a day, these files will be pushed to a VA FSC sftp server? A: VA requires a pull from the contractor. 5.VPN consists of two secure file transmission systems - (a) between medicare administrative contractor and the vendor and (b) between the vendor and VA FSC. A: Yes. 6.Please confirm the RFP due date? A: The RFP due date is 11AM Eastern Standard Time, August 6, 2015.
