- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a requirement to acquire a dataset of geo-potential coefficients of degree and order n=m=2160, including error estimates, which shall represent an enhanced Earth Gravity Model (EGM with inclusion of the latest gravity datasets using the same methodology used to create Earth Gravity Model 2008. The process of computing the coefficients will include the calculation and use of a new high resolution residual terrain model and enhanced terrestrial and marine gravity fields. The contractor shall provide the technical methodology to produce the above including a description of the process, necessary scripts, and instructions. These coefficients shall be created by optimally combining satellite, altimetry, and terrestrial data to include the use of topographic potential models where other data is not sufficient to produce the high frequency components. This is a follow on contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, SGT, Inc., 7701 Greenbelt Road, Suite 400, Greenbelt, MD 20770 under authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1; Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price with a Base Year (Period of Performance: 09/24/2015 - 09/23/2016) and Two Option Years (Period of Performance, if exercised, 09/24/2016 - 09/23/2017, 09/24/2017 - 09/23/2018). The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the vendor by the Government. Verbal requests will not be acted upon. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code is 541360. The small business size standard is 15.0 million.
