- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE AWARD FOLLOW-ON BRIDGE CONTRACT TO EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL, INC, using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Installation Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland, 21005 has a requirement to procure the following: Anticipated award for a bridge contract to Eurofins Eaton Analytical, Inc, is with anticipated period of performance of 45 days from date of award. The bridge contract is necessary to continue the requirement to meet the mission of the US Army Public Health Command while the recomplete is in process. Eurofins shall provide analytical services for the determination of a variety of inorganic and organic parameters in a drinking water matrix which are used to develop health risk assessments. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Request for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion and best interest of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement in email format no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, Tuesday, August 11, 2014. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380.
