This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future detailing requirements for providing pumps, motors, temperature regulating valves, capillary tubes with sensing bulbs, basic in-line flow meters, flow alarm, relays, sight flow indicators, filter housings, strainer baskets, and O & M Manuals for the Units 1 - 3 Turbine Bearing Oil System Upgrade at Lower Granite Lock & Dam, Pomeroy, Washington. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside Status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as Set-Aside 100% for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) small business size standard for this requirement is 500 employees. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management Registration (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation.
