Description
SURGERY TABLE These are the MECs for a Heated V-Top Surgery Table with a Hydraulic Base. A.USAMRIID would like to procure a Heated V-Top Surgery Table with a Hydraulic Base. The heated Surgery Table will ensure proper patient temperature during procedures. The V-Top allows B.The contractor shall provide Warming System that meets the following requirements. 1.Shall have the ability to control heating temperature ranging from 70 degrees Fahrenheit to 97 degrees Fahrenheit 2.Shall have even heat distribution 3.Shall have a two panel system that adjusts from horizontal to near vertical to hold the patient in the desired position during surgery 4.Each panel shall contain a heated area of 8 quote mark x 48 quote mark length, with a total overall heated area of 16 quote mark x 48 quote mark. 5.The overall size of the top shall be 19 quote mark W x 58 quote mark L. This will accommodate the current footprint in the VMD Surgery Suite. 6.Thermostatic control shall be located on the frame for ease of monitoring temperature 7.The electrical heating system shall meet Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or ETL Testing Laboratories (ETL) certification 8.Table shall use a hydraulic mechanism to lift between 30 quote mark to 41 quote mark for the veterinarian surgeon's optimal performance and for ease of raising and lowering the table 9.Shall use hydraulic mechanism versus electrical to hold more weight, up to 400 pounds. 10.Shall have two (2) sliding, quick-release cam cleat tie-down attachments on each side of the table located on the attachment rail. This ensures that the patient is properly secured to the table during any movement of the surgical table during procedures 11.Shall have stainless steel troughs of 3 quote mark to 5 quote mark inches to permit fluids to runoff into a drain outlet USAMRIID RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVIEW ALL POTENTIAL OFFERS AND MAY REQUEST SAMPLES. C. Facility Sanitation: Due to the laboratory research conditions under which most of these products are used, it is extremely important that all products be manufactured and stored in clean and dry facilities. Facility sanitation will be measured against industry standards. USAMRIID RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DO AN ONSITE VISIT TO THE BIDDERS LOCATION TO DETERMINE IF THE FACILITY MEETS THIS REQUIREMENT. D. Product quality assurance: Items will be returned to vendor if they do not meet specifications at receipt inspection. F. USAMRIID reserves the right to evaluate the product for compatibility. H. Market Research/ Potential Vendors EVALUATION CRITERIA: LOWEST PRICE, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. IF NOT QUOTING BRAND NAME THEN MUST PROVIDE MECS WITH QUOTE. ALL BIDS MUST GO THROUGH THE ASFI SITE (SEE BELOW)
