- Description
- The DLA Troop Support intends to solicit for a full-line produce support for various DoD, to include Troop customers located in the San Antonio zone. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside acquisition. NAICS code is 311991 with a size standard of 500 employees. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity, fixed-price contract with an economic price adjustment. The contract will have an 18 month base period and two (2) 18 month option periods. The acquisition method is lowest priced technically acceptable or (LPTA). The estimated dollar amount for an 18 month period for San Antonio North Troops is $2,033,931.27 and the estimated dollar amount for an 18 month period for San Antonio South Troops is $7,783,894.33. Its estimated total maximum dollar amount is $58,906,953.64 including options. The Government intends to make one (1) award based on the lowest technically acceptable offer without discussions; however, it reserves the right to have multiple awards based on the lowest aggregate evaluated price. Offerors are required to offer on all items in the Schedule of Items; failure to do so may result in exclusion from award consideration. The delivery points require indefinite quantities of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables throughout the term of the contract. A more detailed listing of the delivery sites can be found in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by DLA Troop Support. Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ if not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). In order to download and view these documents, prospective offerors will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://adobe.com. Attachments in the solicitation will require Microsoft Office, Word and Excel to open files. The anticipated solicitation will be August 31, 2015 with an award made in February 2016. This solicitation will be issued under FAR 15.101-2 Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The resultant award will be for an indefinite delivery contract, with a guaranteed minimum of 10% of the base period.
