- This is an amendment to a previously posted solicitation, issued for the purpose of notifying interested that the solicitation is changed as follow: (1) The original Terms & Conditions document posted as Attachment no. 2 dated 7/17/15 is hereby replaced and superseded by Attachment no. 8, REVISED Terms & Conditions dated 7/28/15, (2) Section B.1 (Price Schedule) of Attachment no. 8 is changed to now include Line Items 14 through 18 as optional line items (explained in the attached Site Visit Notes), (3) Section C of Attachment no. 8 is corrected to remove reference to "Bemis House Well" in item C.2 which is not part of this project and was accidentally included originally, and (4) The Site Visit Notes are incorporated into this solicitation as Attachment no. 9. The response date is not changed. Quotes are still due by 4:30pm (PT) on Monday, August 17, 2015. PROJECT DESCRIPTION (as previously posted): Request for Quotations to rehabilitate the Elwha Ranger Station parking lot to provide ADA/ABA access to the ranger station and attached public restroom. Contractor will reconstruct the asphalt paved parking area and sidewalks, with associated compact crushed rock base for both. The work includes but is not limited to removal of the existing deteriorated asphalt paved parking area, removal of the treated log curbing, removal of asphalt and concrete sidewalks, preparing sub-base for 2-inch asphalt and 4-inch concrete paving, preparing base for 2-inch asphalt and 4-inch concrete paving, placing 2-inch asphalt, placing 4-inch concrete walks, placement of pre-cast concrete wheel stops, paint striping for parking spaces, earthwork (excavating and grading) to create a shallow drainage swale, placement of excavated soil in disturbed areas, and spreading of grass seed in areas where earthwork is performed.
