- REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-15-R-1009 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a Sole Source basis to Curtiss-Wright located 2600 Paramount Pl., Ste 200, Fairborn, OH 45324-6816. Items to be procured are: GLX4000 144-port switch base unit, Part Number FHS5-00000000-00 (Quantity 4) ET1000 Ethernet Port Card, Part Number FHSZ-GLXRJ010-00 (Quantity 3) RT4000 Retimed Port Card. Part Number FHXZ-GLX000000-RT (Quantity 9) 1000BASE-LX Long-wavelength, Part Number AHPRPLTRANS#26A1, (Quantity 144) 1000BASE-LX SFP Transceiver Module for MMF, Part Number AHPRPLTRANS#27A1 (Quantity 72) 1000BASE-FX SFP module for Gigabit Ethernet ports, Part Number AHPRPLTRANS@38A1 (Quantity 144) 1000BASE-SX compliant SFP, Part Number AHPRPLTRANS#24A1 (Quantity 72). Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 03 August 2015, no later than 12:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 03 September 2015. All questions shall be submitted to the Government POC listed no later than 02 August 2015 at 12:00 p.m. EST to allow ample response time before the close of the bidding period.
