- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-15-Q-0373 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83, Defense Circular Number 20150626, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2015-0406. This procurement is being issued with no set aside. The results of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Items called for by this RFQ have been identified in the schedule by brand name or equal. The contractor shall provide the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001- HH-60G AIRCRAFT SUPPORT FRAME (HH-60G BELLY CRADLE)- (3EA) Overall Dimensions: 66 inches W x 54 inches L x 25.9 inches (nominal) Designed to support aircraft at STA 217/308. Frame Construction: Bosch/Rexroth aluminum extrusion Capacity: 20,000 - Aircraft (ACFT) support frame (HH-60 Belly cradle) to support ACFT during phase/Depot Field Team (DFT) repairs. Size 72" wide by 54" deep and 28" tall (adjustable up/down 9"). Frame made with 90mm by 90mm heavy Bosh strut and trussed for rigidity and strength. Ends equipped with screw down leveling jacks rated at 2 tons each to lift and support 5 tons. The frame will have 4 each swivel casters used for transportation only. Ends equipped with screw down leveling jacks rated at 20,000lbs maximum and allow stand to increase 9" in height. Underside will have skid pads to protect floors. "Saddle" will lock in upright position when in use and fold down for ease of install/removal or equal CLIN 0003- HH-60G AIRCRAFT TAIL PYLON SUPPORT STAND- (1EA) Overall Dimensions: 30.0" x 120."L x 59"H (nominal). Construction: 311 x 3" x 3/16" wall square steel tube base Finish: Black powder coat. Capacity: 1,500 lbs. Support Point: Foot pegs supported by - Pylon Support Stand to support tail pylon for maintenance during phase/DFT. The Stand will be designed to attach to pylon hinge fittings support the upper section by the foot step pegs. The construction will be 3" by 311 by 3/16" square wall steel tube. Finish will be black powder coat. The support will have an rectangular base configuration with 4 swivel locking 611 by 2" casters. The pylon hinge fittings will be attached to mounting points on a tilting plate provided at one end of the support stand. The pylon will be lowered in to the stand by the hoist that removed it from the airframe in its "on airframe" position. Once the hinge fittings are secured, the pylon will lower onto the support frame. The foot pegs will be supported by adjustable vertical post equipped with padded receiver cups. The support will have an "H" base configuration with 4 swivel locking casters and 4 screw jack for lifting and leveling. The support will be provided by 2 removable 211 schedule 80 steel tubes that fit into pockets on the portable base. The support tubes will be removable to allow locating the base the air frame. Once the portable base is in place the support tubes will be removed from their storage ·positions and inserted into the support sleeves. 1 Support for the air frame is to be achieved by extending the screw down floor locks until height and level required met.
