Description
Att 5 DBA Att 4 RMDF Att 3 Drawings Att 2 Specifications Att 1 Statement of Work FA4610-15-R-0021 12K Switch Solicitation This acquisition is a 100% Economically Disadvantage Women Owned Small Business Set-Aside. This Request For Proposal FA4610-15-R-0021 will be a firm fixed price contract. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The small business size standard is $15,000,000.00. The Contractor provide the government with a complete engineering design, construction, and warranty for the Replace 12kV Switchgear at Substation C project to meet current Air Force Standards. The Contractor shall implement this contract order in two phases: the design phase and construction phase on Vandenberg AFB. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical support), items and incidentals necessary there to. The work is required in support of the 30th Civil Engineering Squadron, Base Civil Engineering activities. The Government intends to award on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be available via FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. All potential offerors must be registered on the FedBizOpps.gov website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/#1. It is important to read the solicitation completely, as there are terms and conditions that must be met by the prospective offeror in order for the proposal to be considered responsive. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this solicitation. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via email to the points of contact listed in the solicitation. A site visit is scheduled for 2:30PM Pacific Standard Time on, 06 AUGUST 2015 at Vandenberg AFB Visitor Center, corner of CA Hwy 1 and California Blvd, Vandenberg AFB, CA. The purpose of the site visit will be to answer questions regarding the solicitation and is not intended for contractors to present their capabilities. Contractors wishing to attend the site visit must RSVP in writing by contacting ALL the following individuals no later than 03 AUGUST 2015 at 12PM Pacific Standard Time: Jeffrey C. Fernandez horarcio.fernandez@us.af.mil, 805-606-0323 The RSVP must contain: The company name The names of attendees (Attendees will be limited to 2 individuals per company due to limited room capacity) **For individuals that do not have base access, the dates of birth and driver's license numbers are also required in order to have a base access pass prepared. RAPIDGate does not work at Vandenberg AFB.** Upon receipt of the RSVP, a confirmation of receipt will be sent from one of the Government parties with further information regarding the site visit. If you do not you receive a confirmation by 1PM Pacific Standard Time on 03 AUG 2015, please contact the individuals at the numbers listed no later than 1:30PM Pacific Time on 03 AUG 2015 to ensure your RSVP was received. Attendance to the site visit is not mandatory for contractors interested in proposing on the RFP, however, it is highly recommended. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the individuals listed above no later than 12:00PM Pacific Time on 13 AUGUST 2015. Proposals are due by 12:00PM Pacific Time on 28 AUGUST 2015.
