Description
The Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command, Contracting Department, San Diego CA 92155 intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price Contract in support of Naval Special Warfare (NSW) for the purpose of sustainment and maintenance of the Army Game Studio (AGS) Transportable Reconfigurable Integrated Crew Trainer (TRICT) for the RG33 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) variant at the Naval Special Warfare Group TWO training site in Little Creek, VA. The task includes servicing all TRICT components on a routine basis and providing New Equipment Training (NET) to new operators. The task also includes options for repair of damaged or broken TRICT components. The contractor shall provide the following list of sustainment and maintenance efforts for the TRICT: • Conduct routine service two times per year. Service shall include but not be limited to: o Servicing Air Conditioner components in Instructor Station, Motor Control Room, and RG33 hull o Lubing/Greasing all mechanical pieces (slew ring, doors, hinges, latches, barons, etc.) o Service all IT equipment in Instructor Station (upload newer s/w builds, operating system upgrades, dust mitigation efforts, etc.) o Service checks on RG33 cab components with exception of C4ISR equipment (NAVAIR responsibility) • Conduct NET during routine service trips should the Customer request NET. NET would be conducted for new Operators or existing Operators needing refresher training. • Provide remote support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues that arise during TRICT usage. • Provide Program Management oversight of all sustainment and maintenance efforts. Base Period of Performance: 24 August 2015 - 23 July 2016 Option 1 Period of Performance: 24 August 2016 - 23 July 2017 The services will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Maintenance and training shall be conducted on Joint Expeditionary Base (JEB) Little Creek at 1300 Helicopter Rd., Norfolk, VA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238990. The size standard is $15 Million Dollars. A complete Request for Proposal package will be available for downloading at the FBO website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 29 July 2015. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the offeror is self-certifying that neither the requestor not the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contrast from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
