Synopsis Description (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number VA261-15-Q-0560 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. (iv) This acquisition is a total Small Business set aside. The NAICS code is 811219 and the size standard is $20.5 million. (v) The contract line items are listed in the attached price schedule. Please fill out the price schedule and include it with your quote. (vi) The contractor shall provide electrical distribution system maintenance in accordance with the attached performance work statement. (vii) The work under this resulting contract must be completed within 180 days after the notice to proceed. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, does not apply to this acquisition. (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi) The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) All additional contract clauses and provisions are attached to this notice. (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) do not apply to this acquisition. (xv) Quotes are due by 4:00 PM on August 21, 2015 and can be emailed to michael.hodahkwen@va.gov. Please include a copy of your contractor's license with your quote.
