- 1.GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor and supervision to remove and replace the built-up roof on the Lodge and Maintenance Building. The work is located at the San Francisco National Cemetery, 1 Lincoln Blvd., San Francisco, CA. 94129 Completion Time: Thirty (30) calendar days from date of issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Director: Kathleen McCall TEL: (650) 589-7737 Kathleen.McCall@va.gov Contracting Officer's Representative (COR): TEL: (650)589-7737 Kathleen McCall Kathleen.McCall@va.com Work in this project includes but is not limited to: 1.Remove existing built-up roofing on both the Lodge and Maintenance Building to substrate. 2.Inspect substrate for water or bug/animal damage. Replace as necessary. 3.Install new hot mop, built up roof on both the Lodge and Maintenance. 4.Re-Paint/Paint any area/flashing which were affected by roof replacement Site work will be accomplished between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30, Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays. All work will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Only the Contracting Officer (CO) has the authority to make changes to the contract that affects price and/or time. Work will be conducted in such a manner to minimize the impact on the Cemetery operations. 2.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS See attached specification: General Requirements 01 00 02. 3.WARRANTY The Contractor shall guarantee that all work done under this contract will be free from faulty materials or workmanship. The Contractor hereby agrees to repair or replace without cost to the VA and to his/her satisfaction all defects or imperfection appearing in said work within a period of one (1) year after the date of final acceptance by the VA of all work done under this contract. Contractor must respond within 48-hours to perform any warranty work. Time to have parts delivered to site that are not locally available is not included in this 48-hour response time. ----END---
