- NASA/KSC has a requirement for 2 Realtime CO2 and O2 Respritory Gas Analyzer with calibration kit. These kits must meet the following requirements: Must be less than 2'x 2'x 2' Must be less than 25lbs. Must be capable of real-time(greater than 10hz sample rate) simultaneous analysis of Oxygen (5-100%) and Co2 (0-10% or better). Must be designed to handle exhaled air (microbe filter and high humidity) Provide a sample return port. Real time data display on instrument. Analog output to both O2/CO2 (either voltage or 4-20 mA outputs) Adjustable sampling flow rate (low rate less than 100 mL/min, high rate greater than 200 mL/min.) Must be compatible with standard US power (110-130 VAC, 60 Hz) Resolution 0.1% Oxygen or better, 0.01% CO2 or better) Two point calibration (room air and another sample gas) Gas analyzer should be capable of functioning independently. BUY AMERICAN ACT APPLIES This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.g ov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than 8/5/15. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
