- This is a Request for information and Sources Sought Notice for Market Research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The Government will consider this requirement for a small business set-a-side to a specific socioeconomic program or total small business set-a-side. This requirement will be posted under NAICS 315990 (Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing), or TBD by market research. If a small business, but are acting as a wholesaler please provide a SBA Non-Manufacturer's Individual Waiver if applicable to the NAICS Code. The Contracting Office for United States Property & Fiscal Officer (USPFO) for Missouri is seeking information regarding capability and availability of commercial sources to provide quote mark Military Police Gear quote mark with the Salient Characteristics listed. This will be posted as Name Brand or Equal to the NSNs listed in the attached spreadsheet (tab 2). The attached also has a breakdown of delivery (2 locations) REQUIREMENT: Military Police Gear (see attached for potential CLIN Structure) Please contact the Contract Specialist, 2LT Forrest Hancock at forrest.a.hancock.mil@mail.mil or 573-638-9632 with any inquires or interest in response to this Sources Sought. Please include your CAGE Code, Business Size and Socioeconomic Designation if applicable. Please provide supporting information demonstrating your company is fully capable of meeting the government's salient characteristics per below and attached. Please submit your interest regardless of Socioeconomic Designation. Response Requested by 30 JULY 2015. The salient characteristics for the military police ensemble are listed in the paragraphs Below: All items must match / work with each other. All items must be black with subdued (black) logos, if applicable. Must meet AR 670-1 or other US Army Standards for wear while in uniform. 1. OC SPRAY CASE: 485 each a. Material will be black, lightweight, weatherproof and washable, molded nylon. b. Securable roll-top lid c. Fits belts up to 2-1/4 quote mark to 2-1/2 quote mark W 2. FLASHLIGHT RING: 485 each a. Material will be. black, lightweight, weatherproof and washable b. Fits belts up to 2-1/4 quote mark to 2-1/2 quote mark W c. The ring opening will accommodate a standard, military or police, D-Cell flashlight. 3. BELT KEEPERS: 1940 each a. Material will be black, lightweight, weatherproof and washable, made of nylon material b. Fits belts up to 2-1/4 quote mark to 2-1/2 quote mark W c. The belt keeper must be able to secure the duty belt to trouser belt by a minimum of two hidden snaps. 4. SINGLE HAND CUFF CASE: 485 each a. The outer shell must be black in color and made of ballistic weave material that is both weather proof and washable. b. The snaps that secure the hand cuffs must be hidden. c. Fits belts up to 2-1/4 quote mark to 2-1/2 quote mark W d. The case must fit most chain and hinged cuffs. e. Roll-top lid for easy removal and return 5. DOUBLE MAGAZINE CASE: 485 each a. Material will be black, lightweight, weatherproof and washable, made of nylon material b. The snaps that secure the magazines must be hidden. c.
