- Synopsis: REMOTE PILOTED AIRCRAFT BEDDOWN, BUILDING 912 SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone, Small Businesses and Service Disabled Veteran Sources, Small Disavantaged Businesses 8(a), Women Owned Businesses. Contractor's status will be verified through SAM and SBA. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. New York Air National Guard may issue a solicitation and award of a contract to complete MILCON project quote mark Remote Piloted Aircraft Beddown, Building 912 quote mark, subject to availability of funds. The New York Air National Guard is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of performing a project to renovate and convert approximately 20,000 SF of the existing Squadron Operations facility not addressed during the previous project phase, and provide a 6,380 SF addition to support a Remotely Piloted Aircraft unit at the Niagara Falls ANG Base, Niagara Falls, New York. The work includes furnishing of all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for a complete and usable facility. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 14 Aug 2015. This notification, which shall not exceed five pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (link to form below) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
