Description

This is not a request for proposal or a request for quote. There is no solicitation document available. This is a notice of intent of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at Hudson Valley Healthcare System to negotiate a sole source contract with Advanced Sterilization Products DBA Ethicon INC for a STERRAD 100NX with DUO Sterilizer. This is includes one year of free service warranty. Advanced Sterilization Products is the sole proprietor of the STERRAD 100 NX W/DUO Sterilizer as seen on the Sole Proprietor Letter attached. It is in the best interest of the Government to acquire the products through this vehicle to ensure consistent terms and conditions in sterilization and maintenance. The strategies are in the best interest of the Federal government and the price is fair and reasonable. The FAR authority for this sole source procurement is 6.302-1 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements'.
