Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announces its intention to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for SPSS Data Collection Software license renewal on a sole source basis with International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), 6710 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817. The proposed action is to specifically procure Data Collection software license renewal for existing enterprise software license under NAICS Code 511210. The CDC Agency utilizes IBM, SPSS software license for survey platform tools. The licenses are proprietary to IBM and is the sole sources for the license maintenance and support. This contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This notice of intent is for informational purposes only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement may submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses must be received within two (2) days, of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. All responses must be in writing and can be sent via email to the contract specialist at rbj3@cdc.gov by COB July 17 2015. No phone calls will be accepted.
