This is not a solicitation. Authority: FAR 6.302-1. The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) is committed to strengthening the nation's future by educating, training and developing leaders of character who are ethically, intellectually, professionally, and physically prepared to serve their country and humanity, and who are strong in their resolve to build on the long military and maritime heritage and proud accomplishments of the United States Coast Guard. To accomplish this mission, the CG Academy Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering Section has a requirement to purchase a Spectro-Q1000/Q3000 unit and accessories. IAW U.S. Naval Engineering Technical Standard 262, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement that contains information on the use of the combo unit Q1000 FluidScan handheld monitor and Q3000 portable viscometer onboard our new cutters. Any firm that believes they can meet Spectro-Q1000/Q3000 unit and accessory may give written notification. Supporting evidence must be sufficient to demonstrate ability to comply with U.S. Naval Engineering Technical Standard 262.
