- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial supplies as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia, seeks to competitively award one (1) firm fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. This requirement is for the production, testing and delivery of Solid Waste (SW) Processing Equipment for naval ships. The procurement will consists of one (1) Compressed Melt Units (CMU) without Rear Electrical Enclosure (REE); one (1) REE without CMU, with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE); one (1) Auxiliary Unit (AU), Deck Mounted; one (1) Mini-Auxiliary Unit (AU), Bulkhead Mounted. Any additional specifications for the supply items will be listed with the posting of the solicitation. This procurement is being set aside 100% for Small Business. The required delivery date shall be defined in the solicitation. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 562213 with a size standard of $38,500,000.00. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation Request for Proposal (RFP) N65540-15-R-5163, which will be posted on http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on Vendors), approximately 15 days after posting of this notice. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. See www.sam.gov for further information and instructions. Be advised that periodic access to the websites listed above is essential for obtaining updated documentation and the latest information regarding the procurement. All responsible sources may submit a statement of capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered by the Agency. FAR 13.5 commercial procedures will be utilized.
