- Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract - FDA1149698 Description(s): AquaLab Vapor Sorption Analyzer The Food and Drug Administration, intends to make a sole source award to Decagon Devices, Inc for an AquaLab Vapor Sorption Analyzer. The Vapor Sorption Analyzer produces high resolution aw/moisture content isotherms over the wide range.030 to 0.950 with accuracy of ±0.005 aw and has internal temperature control that allows measurement from 15 to 60 °C. These isotherms can be downloaded and used in conjunction with a moisture analyzer to provide moisture content and aw in a single measurement, which speeds analysis and reduces costs. The NAICS Code for this action is 334516. This procurement is made under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1)- only one responsible source. This is a notice of intent to issue this solicitation on a sole source basis. This notice of intent is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. Any other firms desiring consideration must fully identify their interest and capability to provide this item within 15 days to the point of contact identified below. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The projected award date is on or about July 23, 2015.
