- The Defense Logistics Contracting Services Office Philadelphia intends to solicit for the maintenance renewal of HP Arc Sight software on a small business set aside basis. Competition will be restricted pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 entitled "Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The required maintenance will be 24/7 support starting on 1 October 2015 through 30 Sept 2016 and may allow for at least one 12 month option. A partial list of the required maintenance is hereby provided 23 units of HP086A1, 5, HP Software Q6U Supp products, 8, HP Jointware SAP sup among others. Competition will be limited to only those small business concerns who are dealers or resellers that are AUTHORIZED and CERTIFIED by HP to provide the required HP Arc Sight software maintenance. It is noted that subject requirement will be awarded "SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILTY OF FUNDING". The DCSO-P Solicitation # for this action is SP4701-15-R-0940 The placement of a firm fixed price commercial items type contract is the expected result of this acquisition effort. The NAICS code for this effort is 511210 Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
