- The United States Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD 21005, intends to award a (1) year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on around about 24 July 2015 to Boeing Company in accordance with 10.USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 8.405-6, Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized, for Boeing DataMaster Workstation and SQS software subscriptions with technical support. DataMaster software is developed by Boeing and software maintenance/support is exclusively distributed by Boeing Company. Boeing software is being used in support of the Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A) Operational Intelligence Ground System (OGS) Advanced Miniaturized Data Acquisition System (AMDAS) program. Performing this task is necessary to meet the mission of the Software Engineering Center (SEC), and is required for compliance with Section 933 of the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 511210 (Software Publishers). This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement, which if received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by the agency. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
