- The US Army Armament Research and Development Command (ARDEC) Benet Laboratories, located at Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet New York is seeking capabilities statements from firms that can provide Benet Laboratories with parts and service for Milltronics VMC22 High Speed 4-axis CNC machine with Fanuc 0i-Model C controller and DMG DMU50 5-axis CNC machine with Siemens 840D controller. Vendor will supply all services including hardware and software. Software will include control updates and ladder modifications for optional features that have been installed such as PC DMIS on machine probing, Caron Engineering TMAC Tool Condition Monitoring and other options that may be installed. Vendor will also include service and parts for Marposs tool inspection laser and Renishaw probe that are installed as a component on the machines. The Government contemplates issuing Blanket Purchase Agreement(s) (BPA) under which to purchase these parts and service. This notice is open to all business concerns; however, the government intends to evaluate and award BPAs to small business concerns. In the event that there are not enough responses from small businesses, the government will consider awarding to large business concerns. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, information pertaining to experience on previous contracts for similar supplies/services and other technical data. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) under the NAICS 333517. Representations and certifications must also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The following information is required to register in SAM: DUNS Number; Tax Identification Number (TIN) and Taxpayers Name; Statistical Information about your business; and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Information. All information is to be submitted in the English language via e-mail only (10MB limit) at no cost or obligation to the Government and will not be returned. Ensure that the e-mail is clearly marked to indicate its contents, the solicitation number, and the identity of the firm submitting. Proposals may be submitted in Word or PDF format only. Do not include links to websites in lieu of incorporating information into your proposal. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity; large or small business and indicate which of the technical areas(s) you are addressing in your submission. Please provide name of your firm, address, POC, phone/fax number, and email address. Interested firms are encouraged to submit their capabilities / qualification data NO LATER THAN COB 1600 Eastern Time on 10 August 2015. The Government will accept written questions via email only; Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
