- CG Yard Dynamometer Specification The Coast Guard (CG) Yard Industrial has a requirement for the design/layout to the existing facilities for installation of a dynamometer capable of testing MTU 20V4000M93L and Paxman RP200M main diesel engines found on board 100' CG vessels. Upon approval of the design, the contractor will be required to manufacture and install the dynamometer in accordance with the approved design and CG Yard Dynamometer Specification. Contract line items are as follows: CLIN 001 Design/layout to upgrade existing dynamometer facility in accordance with CG Yard Dynamometer Specification, 1 jb CLIN 002 (Optional) Dynamometer & Accessories, 1 pg CLIN 002a (Optional) Cooling System, 1 ea CLIN 002b (Optional) Exhaust System, 1 ea CLIN 002c (Optional) Dynamometer Booth, 1 ea CLIN 002d (Optional) Fuel Treatment System, 1 ea CLIN 002e (Optional) Engine Test Carts, 2 ea CLIN 002f (Optional) Control System, 1 ea CLIN 002g (Optional) Commissioning, 1 jb CLIN 002h (Optional) Remove Concrete Water Tank, 1 jb CLIN 002i (Optional) Labor, materials, supervision needed to remove existing equipment and install dynamometer and associated systems and equipment in accordance with CG Yard Dynamometer Specification, 1 jb. CLIN 003 (Optional) Labor, materials, supervision needed to remove existing equipments and install the HVAC system and associated systems and equipment in accordance with CG Yard Dynamometer Specification, 1 jb Delivery and installation shall take place at U.S. Coast Guard Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. It is intended to award one (1) firm-fixed price, contract. The solicitation package will be available for downloading from FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov on or about 7/23/2015. Be advised that this date is estimated at best, and it is the contractor's responsibility to check FedBizOpps regularly for release of the solicitation. Please note that a pre-proposal/site visit shall be scheduled approximately two (2) weeks after issuance of the solicitation. Exact date will be indicated in the solicitation. Once the solicitaiton is issued, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 334519, and the size standard for small business is 500 employees.
