- The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing brand-name Audio and Lighting Equipment to the United States Government in accordance with the line items in the attached RFQ N00189-15-T-G164. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-15-T-G164. The NAICS code is 334310- Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing, and the small business standard is 750 employees. This is a full and open competitive action, and it is anticipated that only one award will result from this solicitation. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Purchasing Agent via e-mail or fax ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendors responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.acq.osd.mil. Lack of registration in the System Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) will make a vendor ineligible for award. The Government anticipates release of the RFQ during the second week of August 2015.
