- THIS NOTICE IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. The tracking number for this announcement is W912P8-15-SS-0006. The NAICS codes for this proposed acquisition is 561621. The Government will use responses to this Sources Sought synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions regarding the type of procurement to be utilized for Maintenance and Repair of Security and CCTV systems at various USACE Sites Throughout South Louisiana. The US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, solicits a capability statement from all qualified companies. The services include maintenance and repair of security and CCTV systems at 19 different USACE field sites located throughout south Louisiana. Locations include: Algiers Lock, Bayou Boeuf Lock, Bayou Sorrel Lock, Berwick Lock, Bonnet Carre Spillway, Calcasieu Lock, Calcasieu River Saltwater Barrier, Catfish Point Control Structure, Freshwater Bayou Lock, Harvey Lock, Inner Harbor Navigation Canal Lock, Leland Bowman Lock, Old River Control Structure - Auxiliary, Old River Control Structure - Low Sill, Old River Lock, Morganza Control Structure, Port Allen Lock, Schooner Bayou Control Structure, and Venice Sub Office. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and tools necessary to provide the services required for the maintenance and/or repair of these systems. Contractor shall perform all preventative maintenance services 2 times per year per site, using the recommendations of the various equipment manufacturers and includes the following: -Check all cameras, camera controllers, DVRs, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), card readers, keypads, security gates and operators, intercoms (including Aiphones), zone systems and security system CPUs (C-Cure) to test proper operation. Submit list of all deficiencies after maintenance is completed, if any. -Clean and lubricate barrier gates (hydraulic and chain drive). -Clean cameras and lenses. -Clean system equipment and local processors inside and out and perform diagnostics on all equipment. - Update all system firmware and software. Repairs shall be performed on an on call basis with requests mainly coming from field site personnel. A four hour response time is required for emergency outages (e.g. main access gates and critical cameras) and by the next business day for non-emergencies. All interested companies meeting our stated criteria are invited to submit a Capability Statement consisting of appropriate documentation, literature and brochures and should include: 1) Firm name, address, telephone and fax numbers. 2) Identification of the company's size certification based on NAICS code 561621. 3) Past experience with maintenance and repair of security and CCTV systems. IMPORTANT: Responses must be limited to no more than 10 pages. Submission of a Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Corps in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This sources sought is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation. Statements that do not meet all requirements or submitted within the allotted time will not be considered. Responses must be received no later than 4:30pm Central, Thursday, 16 July 2015. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
