Description

Justification and Approval The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm-fixed-price, Phase III SBIR contract with GS Engineering, Inc., Houghton, MI 49931. This Phase III contract will complete the research and development efforts performed under Phase I and Phase II by transitioning the Wheel Bank Suspension Upgrade Program to full-rate production and fielding to the Marine Corps. The wheel bank assemblies support a continuing requirement within the USMC for effective mine roller systems to mitigate the effects of improvised explosive devices. The proposed action encompasses the award of a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to GS Engineering, Inc. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only GS Engineering, Inc. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available.
