- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully perform the requirements described herein. The subject requirement is for a single source to manage the remanufacture, overhaul or repair (ROR) or tear down and evaluation (TD and E), with consistent turn-around times (TATs), of the Ground Equipment Secondary Reparable Logistics Integration Support (SECREP LIS) items (approximately 1100 items) for a period of performance not to exceed 6 months, commencing on 21 September 2015. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other services necessary to perform ROR for SECREP items as defined in the PWS. The items will be turned in and retrieved from approximately 6 designated Government locations both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The contractor shall also provide visibility of Government-owned assets in the contractor ™s possession, and historical records, to designated Government personnel, as outlined in the PWS. This asset visibility shall include the ability to view several standard reports; create new reports as required; search, sort and filter; and download data as required. This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded from this request. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this request. The Government will use responses to this RFI to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The contract will contain fixed prices for each ROR item and will include Over and Above elements. The Government anticipates funding the contract incrementally on a quarterly basis. The proposed NAICS Code for this acquisition is 541614; Size Standard is $15.0M. Firms responding to this RFI are requested to provide the following information to the Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) via email: 1. Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2. DUNS number and CAGE code; 3. Business size status under the 541614 NAICS code; 4. A statement describing your company ™s capability to perform the requirements, including relevant past performance history if available; Responses are due within 5 calendar days after date of publication of this sources sought, and shall be electronically submitted to: nellie.garner@usmc.mil. Responses may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. This RFI should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this RFI or any follow-up information requests. Feedback and/or evaluation information will not be provided to any firm regarding response to the RFI. The deadline for submitting a response to the RFI is 6 July 2015 by 4:30 PM EST.
