- DO NOT CONTACT POSTER - L. NEWHOUSE. FOR ANY INFORMATION CONTACT: Engineer Mark Conrad (443-395-7013, mark.g.conrad.civ@mail.mil) Sources sought for AN/PRC-152(V)2(C) radios. US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is seeking sources able to provide quantity 162 AN/PRC-152(V)2(C) radios, or a form/fit/function equivalent, for Foreign Military Sales. CECOM SAMD currently holds an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for countries directing sole source to the original manufacturer, Harris Corporation, but has no existing contract for customers that do not direct sole source. The Government intends to use the results of this market survey to inform its decision as to whether or not a Justification & Authorization will be drafted for an award to Harris Corporation based on other than open competition because there are no other sources. The AN/PRC-152 is a SCA-compliant Type-1 multiband, multimission handheld radio. It is software upgradeable and delivers secure, real-time communication within the 30-512 MHz multiband with a High Band option extending frequency range coverage to 30-520 MHz and 762-870 MHz. It incorporates Sierr programmable encryption. Supported waveforms are SINCGARS, VHF/UHF AM and FM, and optional HAVEQUICK, as well as optional APCO-P25 waveform for interoperability with civilian authorities SATCOM waveforms include SATCOM HPW messaging with (optional) IP data, JITC certified 181B up to 56 kbps, 182A/183A DAMA. There is an embedded GPS receiver. Answering this Market Survey Responses may be simple statements of the capability to provide the requested items. Responses shall identify the source of the items as Harris Corporation, a different manufacturer, or as a distributer/reseller for Harris or another manufacturer. No costing or pricing is required at this time. Responses may be by electronic media sent to the email address provided herein. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. The information will be used to help inform the Government of possible courses. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the future competitions has not been determined. The Government may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program.
