Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Nashville, Tennessee has identified a need to operate a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Dover, Tennessee. The TVHS VAMC seeks to acquire these services from a contract provider. A contract was previously awarded to provide these services and a contract CBOC was operated in Dover, TN from approximately 1997 to present. The period of performance noted in the solicitation shall be for a base period of one year, and shall include four one-year optional extension periods. NOTICE TO ALL OFFERORS: The TVHS VAMC is in the process of expanding the Clarksville, TN CBOC. It is expected that this expansion may be completed in the next 2 to 3 years. When the expanded Clarksville CBOC opens it is possible that the need may no longer be justified and the Dover CBOC may no longer be necessary. All Offerors should be on notice that there is a likelihood that all options for the CBOC contract awarded as a result of this solicitation may not be exercised. There will be a single award made from the solicitation, or the Government reserves the right to make no award from the solicitation. The solicitation will identify a time frame for submission of questions (approximately 2 weeks after the solicitation is posted) and all interested parties are asked to comply with the time frames set forth in the solicitation document for submission of questions. The solicitation shall set out specific requirements for submitting a proposal and all Offerors will be expected to fully comply with proposal submission requirements.
