Description

Sole Source for a Titantium Vacuum Furnace DLA Aviation Richmond is issuing a solicitation to procure one each of a Titanium Vacuum Furnace. The solicitation is intended to result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract with completion requested in 320 days ARO. Request for Quote SPM4A8-15-Q-0111 is Sole Source, Other than Full and Open Competition. Contractor: Ipsen Inc, Cage Code: 14638. A complete technical package, DLA-A-VIBB-14-40-1002, including all design, fabrication, supplies, installation, and training requirements is included as a part of the solicitation. FOB at Destination with Inspection at Origin and Acceptance at Destination. The solicitation will issue on June 24, 2015 and close on July 24, 2015. This synopsis serves to meet the requirements to post solicitations as the RFQ is NOT available on DIBBS. The solicitation will be issued and evaluation performed utilizing FAR 13.5 under the guidance of the Permanent Authority for Use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A copy of the solicitation is attached. Archiving Policy: Automatic / 15 days after response date.
