Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services) and whether or not these items requested are offered on a federal supply schedule. The Department of Veteran's Affairs is seeking sources to provide software, hardware, implementation, training and support for a VistA integration solution and Image management system for the eye clinic. Vendor shall provide a solution to maintain a centralized, paperless, fully digital system, providing doctors with direct access to all patient images with Ophthalmic specific review tools, including the ability to easily view patient history over time. The system shall provide the ability to capture and store Ophthalmic Images as well as reports from numerous locations throughout the VISN from various healthcare equipment to include: -Import from any source producing DICOM files -Auto import from Oculus Pentacam Scheimpflug device feature -Auto import from Zeiss Cirrus OCT -Auto import from Optovue OCT -Auto import from Heidelberg HRT/HRT2/HRT3 feature -Auto import from Nidek OPD Corneal Topographer -Auto import from Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer Feature -Import from Quantel Cinescan Ultrasound Feature -Auto import from Kowa VK-2 Software Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541512 and the small business size standard is $27.5 million. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Alea.Barnes@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on June 23, 2015.
