Description

SSJ statement of work The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award of a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Broadblast, Inc, 159 Delaware Avenue, Room 102, Delmar, NY 12054-1312 for the continued use of secure service support to provide continued accessibility, maintenance, and network support for the BroadBlast Managed Communication System, which is used as a continuation alert notification (call down) system during an emergency response. The statement of work for this requirement and the sole source justification are attached. This will be awarded as a one-year contract with four (4) one-year options. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response should be emailed to the purchasing agent at lml3@cdc.gov by 4:30 p.m. EDT, June 25, 2015.
