Description

Service Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business Set-Aside: This requirement is 100% set- asides for certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) who are visually verifiable as such in vetbiz.gov. Any contract award as a result of this solicitation shall not be delayed due to loss of SDVOSB verification. Proposals submitted by non-verified SDVOSB firms shall be excluded from award consideration. General Contractor must perform at least 25% of the work. Location of Work: Lake City VA Medical Center, Lake City, FL. This project will include the following elevators: P1, P2, S3, S4 and F5 in Building 64; as well as elevators 6 and 7 in Building 64-2. Work includes elevator car upgrades, motor and/or pump replacements, controller replacements, general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. North American Industry Classification (NAICS): The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The Small Business size standard is $15.0 Million. The performance period is 364 calendar days. Estimate: $2 MIL to $5 MIL. Funding: FAR Clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds applies to this requirement. Award is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. The Government does not compensate vendors for proposal development and submission. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is July 17, 2015.
