- The containment must be a drive on, steel construction secondary containment system with steel hats and steel removable grading. The system shall have the ability to be broken down into 3 separate systems. The side walls of the containment system must be able to withstand a 10 ton vehicle axle load being driven on it. External detachable side wall ramps are required on the front side of the containment system. It must be able to be set-up and moved with standard material handling equipment such as forklifts and transported by flatbed. The equipment must not have a gross weight that exceeds the capability of a 10K forklift. It must meet all EPA and OSHA regulation for secondary containment. The containment system must fit under a roofed area with dimensions of 74'L X 25'W with a wall on the back and right side, 3 pillars in the front, and a curb on the left side. The containment system will be no taller than 10" and utilize all usable space within the given area. The containment system will be able to be interlinked if set up in smaller sections for total coverage and have two (each section) 2 inch low point draining plug. The containment system must be capable of containing 7K gallons of fuel within the entire area. The containment system must have at least two (2) copper grounding points on opposite sides of each containment section. This is a commercial acquisition. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% HubZone Small Business Set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code 3441; NAICS code 332312 and the related small business standard of 500 Employees. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DOD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in SAM may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successul offeror who is registered in SAM at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 18 June 2015. The Offer Due Date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps(FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies will not be made availabe. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All prospective offerers interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
