Description

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industries of the FAA's intent to contract with a selected firm using single source procedures. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source contract to Rosemount Analytical, Inc. The FAA has a requirement for a Multi-Gas Analyzer, which consists of 4 benches to simultaneously measure CO, CO2, O2 and CF3Br. The analyzer measures CO from 0% to 30%; CO2 from 0% to 100%; O2 from 0% to 100% and CF3Br from 0% to 30% with a combination of paramagnetic and NDIR sensors. This equipment will be used for lithium battery testing at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center located in Atlantic City, NJ. A FULL DESCRIPTION OF ALL SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS ARE ATTACHED BELOW. A competitive solicitation is not available for this requirement. If your firm does not agree with the single source determination, please provide evidence of your firms ™ capabilities and experience in providing the required work outlined in the attached requirements document, and the FAA will evaluate accordingly. All responses to this announcement MUST be directed to: brittany.ctr.owens@faa.gov no later than Thursday, June 25, 2015, 12:00 pm (Eastern Time).
