Description
This is a Sources Sought Announcement. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. Any information submitted by respondents to this announcement is strictly voluntary. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD) is seeking potential sources to provide test support of the DODIC MT86 Canopy Remover Cartridge. The purpose of this ordnance assessment (OA) is to evaluate the performance of these units and determine the feasibility of a service life increase. It is also needed to determine the degradation of performance characteristics of the Canopy Remover Cartridges and if they are attributable to in-service environment and age, assess the units' safety, and reliability. All interested sources shall provide a capability statement in response to the requirement described above. Capability statements shall address an offeror's ability to perform the requirement above. Interested sources shall clearly outline those competencies that the capability statement is being submitted in support of, as page 1 of their submission. Individual capability statements should clearly demonstrate the sources ability to fully meet requirements specified above. The capability statement shall also include the organization name, point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, CAGE Code, and the requirement for which you are submitting a capability statement. Each capability statement shall address capability, personnel, and past performance for the requirement identified. Capability statement should be no longer than 20 pages, single-spaced, 13-point font, and at a minimum demonstrate the ability to perform the required service.
