Description

Bulk fuel requirement for JFA5A additive, NSN 6850-01-644-2607 for acquisition of twenty (20) 55 U.S. gallon (USG) drums ; delivered FOB origin or destination to DLA Defense Depot, Richmond, Virginia. Period of performance is from date of award to April 1, 2023. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this requirement has been identified for non-competitive contract action. Innospec Fuel Specialties (Innospec) is identified as the only source authorized to supply this requirement to DLA Energy. It is DLA Energy's intent to enter into a contractual arrangement with Innospec for this requirement. Other interested parties may submit a capability statement, including authorization from Innospec to supply this requirement, which shall be considered by the Government. Interested parties should submit a capability statement to the Point of Contact as soon as possible, but not later than June 19, 2015. Authorization to perform and any supporting documentation must be included. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
