- This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quotation (RFQ); it is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFP or as an obligation on the part of the Government for follow-on acquisition. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Looking to furnish and install new classroom furniture: Scope of work: Require updated furniture capable of providing not only a collaborative language learning environment but which also supports extensive individual computer-based testing and assessment. Two additional requirement are accommodating our current oversized 26 inch LCD monitors, and ensuring that the laboratory furniture contained in all three interconnected laboratory rooms present a standard appearance. An example of furniture the Government has reviewed would be: SMARTDesks Mira Vista and Loci Carrel furniture. This provides the privacy necessary for individual language testing and assessment. All responsible parties that feel they can provide this requirement should forward their capabilities in writing to Joseph.r.Bloss.civ@mail.mil.
