- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Minimal Essential Characteristics Implantable Telemetry Devices and System Brand Name or Equal TSE Systems: Stellar Implantable Transmitter, Type PBTA-L1 Pressure, Biopotential, Temp, Activity Operational 1.The system must include implantable telemetry devices capable of recording and transmitting physiological data, to include: ECG, blood pressure, temperature and activity. 2. Telemetry implants must be able to be used in nonhuman primates and must have a battery life of at least 3 months of continuous or intermittent use. 3.The system must have antennas capable of receiving telemetry data without having to modify the animal cages. 4. Antennas and receiver items must not be attached to animal cage or hinder normal access to the animal cage door or feeding system. Antennas and receivers must be able to be placed in active animal rooms and be unobtrusive. 5.Items/system must not require the alteration of cage(s). 6.The system must be able to be used with the existing telemetry data acquisition system, which runs the Notocord hem Evolution program, version 4.3.0.47, on Windows 7. 7. The system must be able to transmit digital data over a Cat 5e cable to the data acquisition system. 8.The implantable telemetry device must have the capability to store data to prevent loss of data during transmission in the event of receiver or transmission equipment failure. 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF QUOTES Failure to submit all documents concurrently and in accordance with these instructions may render a quote unacceptable. The quote and supporting documentation shall be submitted electronically via email to Abraham Pottenger at abraham.g.pottenger.civ@mail.mil by the date and time specified on the cover page of this SF1449 Solicitation. 2. QUOTE AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION EVALUATION To aid in evaluation, quote shall be practical, specific complete, and logically assembled. The quote shall be in a clear, concise format satisfying all requirements of this solicitation. It shall be in sufficient detail to demonstrate a clear understanding of the work to be accomplished. All quotations submitted with equivalent supplies shall provide a matrix that directly point back to all MEC's.
